AGUNSA Signs MOU with Caltronics

In a strategic alliance set to revolutionize the logistics sector in the United States, Agunsa and Caltronics formalized their commitment by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Friday, December 8, 2023. The agreement establishes the framework for collaboration in the development of robotic refrigerated warehousing projects in the North American country.

The signing ceremony, held at Agunsa’s offices, was attended by Maximiliano Urenda and Germán Lyon, the latter being the partner and owner of Caltronics. Both parties expressed their enthusiasm for this strategic partnership that marks the beginning of an exciting era in logistics innovation.

With this MOU, Agunsa and Caltronics formalize their commitment to work together on the design, implementation, and operation of refrigerated warehouses equipped with advanced robotic technology. The initial focus will be on the state of Florida, encompassing various strategic locations to optimize the supply chain and enhance efficiency in the storage and distribution of perishable goods.

Maximiliano Urenda, representing Agunsa, commented during the signing ceremony: “This strategic collaboration with Caltronics positions us as pioneers in implementing innovative logistics solutions in the U.S. market. We are excited about the opportunity to improve the cold chain and provide efficient solutions to our clients.”

Germán Lyon, partner of Caltronics, expressed confidence in the alliance: “This partnership with Agunsa represents a significant step in introducing cutting-edge technologies to the U.S. logistics sector. We are committed to working hand in hand to carry out projects that will transform the way refrigerated warehouses are managed.”

The project is not limited to Florida alone, as both companies have plans to expand to other states in the U.S. and, looking ahead, to Mexico. This strategic collaboration is anticipated as a milestone in the evolution of logistics, combining Agunsa’s expertise in logistical operations with Caltronics’ technological innovation.
